Vostok Dolphin Naval Soviet Mechanical Watch

A Vostok (Восток) mechanical watch with a charming nautical theme featuring a leaping dolphin over blue waves and an anchor at 6 o'clock on the white dial. The gold-tone case has a distinctive coin-edge bezel with red accent markers and the characteristic Vostok crown at 2 o'clock position. Paired with a brown leather strap. The caseback shows the typical Vostok screw-down construction.

Vostok, based in Chistopol, was the official supplier of watches to the Soviet Ministry of Defense and became famous for their rugged Komandirskie and Amphibia military lines. This dolphin dial represents the more playful civilian side of their production, though it retains the robust case design developed for naval use. The offset crown placement is a hallmark Vostok feature, designed to prevent the crown from digging into the wearer's wrist.

Good vintage condition. Gold-tone case shows wear and patina with some plating loss. Bezel insert shows age. Crystal clear. Dial clean with intact printing. Movement runs (not tested for accuracy). Strap is a newer replacement.
