Soviet Zenit 12S Photosniper FS-12 Kit

This is a complete Soviet Photosniper FS-12 kit featuring a Zenit 12S camera body with a massive telephoto lens and pistol grip trigger assembly. The kit includes the camera with bellows-style lens hood, pistol grip with shoulder stock marked "Фотоснайпер" (Photosniper), yellow and neutral density filters, extension tubes, and original hard carrying case. The unique trigger mechanism allows for stable shooting of distant subjects, originally designed for wildlife and sports photography. Complete with tan leather straps throughout.

The Photosniper was a Soviet specialty kit developed for extreme telephoto photography, combining the robust Zenit SLR with long lenses and a rifle-style grip for stability. Popular with nature photographers and sports journalists, the kit earned its name from the gun-like appearance and shooting stance. The FS-12 designation indicates compatibility with Zenit 12 series cameras, produced by KMZ (Krasnogorsk Mechanical Works) during the 1970s-1980s.
