This is a Soviet Poljot chronograph with an estimated 38-40mm cushion-shaped stainless steel case, featuring a striking black dial with silver subdials, luminous hour markers, and turquoise hands. The watch houses the manual-wind Poljot caliber 3133, derived from the Swiss Valjoux 7734 and produced by the First Moscow Watch Factory. It features a 45-minute elapsed time counter, running seconds subdial, date window, telemeter scale, and chronograph pushers. Black leather strap with blue stitching included. Serviced and tested.
The Poljot 3133 was introduced in the mid-1970s after the Soviet Union acquired production equipment from Valjoux. This reliable 23-jewel movement powered numerous Soviet chronographs throughout the 1970s and 1980s, continuing the legacy of Russian watchmaking excellence for both military and civilian use.
Good vintage condition. Case shows moderate wear with visible patina and minor scratches. Crystal clear. Dial in good condition with intact lume. Chronograph functions operational. All pages intact. Serviced and tested.
