A Soviet Чайка ladies' watch with painted decoration running from bracelet to dial — the white face carries a ring of hand-painted small flowers in pink, red, and blue around the numerals, with Чайка and СССР markings at center. The oval gold-tone case connects to narrow elongated enamel bracelet links, each depicting botanical scenes on white ground: flowers, green leaves, and on at least one panel, a small bird. Gold-tone hardware throughout.
Most Chaika enamel watches treat the dial and bracelet as separate design elements. This one treats them as one continuous surface, the floral program starting at the clasp and ending at the center of the dial itself. It's a more considered piece of design than it looks at first glance.
Good vintage condition. Dial paint intact with clear floral detail. Enamel bracelet links show light wear but no significant crazing. Case and hardware show age-appropriate tarnishing. Recently serviced, running.
