Soviet Chaika Watch, Blue Enamel Rose Bracelet, 17 Jewels

A Soviet Chaika ladies' watch with an oval white dial, Arabic numerals, and Чайка branding indicating a 17-jewel movement. The four bracelet links are octagonal enamel panels on pale blue grounds painted with peach roses and purple accents, set in plain bronze-tone frames. Gold-tone expansion bracelet on both ends. Unlike the secret watch variants, the dial is permanently exposed — this is a dress watch rather than a jewelry piece, designed for daily wear.

Chaika produced across a wide range of finishing levels, from the elaborate secret watch bracelets down to pieces like this one — still hand-painted enamel, still distinctly Soviet in its decorative sensibility, but built for wearing rather than gifting.
