1984 Novoe Vremya Dollar Bayonet Cover

Novoe Vremya was founded in 1943 as the Soviet Union's multi-language political weekly. By 1984, during Reagan's military buildup and interventions in Grenada and Lebanon, the magazine amplified anti-American messaging, portraying US foreign policy as militaristic imperialism driven by capitalist greed rather than democratic ideals.
