1967 Soviet Anniversary Konstruktor Drafting Pencils

A set of "Конструктор" (Konstruktor) drafting pencils commemorating "50 лет" (50 years) of the USSR, produced for the 1967 golden jubilee. The striking box features the Soviet state emblem, hammer and sickle, and flags of all 15 Soviet republics in miniature. Made at the Tomsk Pencil Factory (Томская Карандашная Фабрика), priced at 27 kopecks. The set contains 10 pencils in graduating hardnesses from 2M (soft) to 2T (hard), in classic natural cedar and orange lacquer finishes.

The Tomsk factory, established in Siberia, was one of the major Soviet pencil producers. This anniversary edition transforms humble school supplies into propaganda objects, typical of how the USSR infused everyday items with ideological messaging. The modernist "Konstruktor" typography and republic flags design reflect the optimistic aesthetic of the Khrushchev thaw era.

Good vintage condition. Box shows light wear with minor edge scuffing. Some pencils appear unused, others show light use. All pencils present. Original state pricing intact.
